Power Balance for Riders

Power Balance for Riders is the ultimate class for rapidly improving balance, poise and confidence on a horse.

Because vaulters ride on a pad rather than a saddle, and have the opportunity to sit, kneel, stand, roll and otherwise move about freely on the horse, vaulting allows riders to improve their balance far faster and more thoroughly than normal riding lessons. In fact, vaulting was developed in Europe to teach the cavalry better balance on their horses for fighting.

Every level rider can benefit greatly from these classes.

Beginning riders learn balance on a horse free of the demands of controlling it. The vaulting surcingle has handles available whenever riders feel they need to hold on - which gives them the freedom to experiment with not holding on while riding forward, backward, sideways, on the neck, on their knees, and so on. While having more fun and less fear, beginning riders learn how to effortlessly balance. This makes learning how to control a horse far easier and faster.

Intermediate and advanced riders will improve their seat and learn that extra poise to WOW the judges. You will learn to sit in a variety of positions and move about the horse with perfect balance and ease, making your riding more effortless and elegant than ever.

You might enjoy the new challenges and fun that vaulting offers and go on to join
