Clothes: Wear clothing that is appropriate for gymnastics. Stretchy pants or shorts, and shirts or leotards work well, with
layers during colder weather.
Shoes: Vaulting shoes are similar to gymnastic shoes, with a ribbed rubber sole for gripping the horse. To take a look
at or buy real vaulting shoes, visit www.pvsupply.net. Perfectly acceptable substitutes are shoes that are soft and allow
for pointed toes.
Other: Prescription glasses are fine. Sunscreen is recommended, but not on children's hands, and, if possible, avoid
putting sunscreen on the legs.
Jewelry: Please, no earrings (unless needed for recently pierced ears), necklaces, bracelets, etc...
Clothing: Nothing tight: If it can't stretch into splits or let your arms go in any position, don't wear it. Nothing
nice: Be aware that this is a sport where kids are likely to get dirty. Please dress for comfort and utility, and not for
fashion.

Water: Or kids are welcome to drink out of a hose.
Hair ties: If you don't have short hair, please tie it back.
Great attitudes: Please make sure to leave all bad attitudes outside the fence. You are welcome to pick them up again
when you leave. Or not.
Parents: Parents are responsible for keeping their children well-behaved. If this does not require parental presence,
parents are free to drop off.
Siblings: Siblings are welcome as long as they are well supervised by a parent and do not interfere with the practice.
Common Sense: Please use caution around the horses, and never enter a horse corral unless specifically invited by the
instructor.
Horse Treats: Feel free to bring a carrot of bit of apple for the horse(s).
Dogs or other animals: We have enough animals here already.
Toys: Vaulters' toys need to be kept in the car, please. Toys for non-vaulting siblings are fine as long as they do
not make noise or flutter.
